Doggie Dentals
Non-anesthetic dental cleanings are an affordable alternative to the full anesthetic option, which also can be risky as your dog advances in age. Some breeds are more sensitive to anesthesia than others. Doing bloodwork before, is not a guarantee that organs can process anesthesia without issue. Dental health is important for your dog, because bacteria from dental disease can contribute to other health problems, such as kidney, liver and heart disease.
We Welcome New Clients
The procedure:
Procedure done in the comfort of your pet’s own home, to help relieve anxiety and stress. We begin by gently swaddling your dog to help it feel comfortable and safe. It is placed on it’s side and cradled. All the plaque and tarter is then removed by hand scaling each tooth with dental instruments. This is a thorough, deep cleaning that includes under the gumline.
We finish with a minty polish especially for dogs, that helps with fresh breath. The average cleaning time to expect is 30-60 minutes. We recommend a cleaning every 6-12 months, based on how fast your dog builds up tarter.
If your dog has severe periodontal disease or needs extractions, then a full anesthetic cleaning at your vet’s office will be recommended
At DFW Doggie Dentals, we offer professional and compassionate dental care for your furry friends. Our team understands the importance of maintaining your dog’s oral health, which directly impacts their overall well-being. Here’s a look at the specialized services we provide
Non-anesthetic dental cleaning (dogs only)
Our primary service is a non-invasive, anesthesia-free dental cleaning. This procedure allows us to clean your dog’s teeth effectively, without the risks associated with anesthesia. We use gentle techniques to ensure your dog is calm and comfortable throughout the process.
Nail grind or clip
At DFW Doggie Dentals, we know that your dog’s overall health isn’t just about dental care — it also includes proper grooming, such as regular nail maintenance. Overgrown nails can cause discomfort, affect mobility, and even lead to injuries. That’s why we offer professional nail grinding and clipping services as part of our commitment to your pet’s well-being.
Cold laser therapy
At DFW Doggie Dentals, we are proud to offer Cold Laser Therapy, a cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment designed to reduce pain and promote healing in dogs. This safe and effective therapy uses low-level laser light to target areas of inflammation or injury, helping your pet recover faster and with less discomfort.
What is cold laser therapy
Cold laser therapy is a non-evasive, drug free treatment that uses focused laser light to increase the blood circulation and stimulate the regeneration of cells. It is used to treat various ailments, including back pain, ear infections, arthritis, post-surgical wounds, hot spots, degenerative disc disease and soft tissue trauma. The treatments are cumulative, so each treatment facilitates a greater improvement in your dog’s condition. Laser treatment is totally pain free and actually comforting.
